Wondering if there has been any sort of pre-sale of tickets for Garth Brooks' June 18th concert at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 13 and I would like to know if there are any options for purchasing tickets prior to that date. Thanks!

The only info I've heard is that you have to get tickets through Ticket Master on May 13th! They will have an 8 ticket maximum and it's a "best seat available" policy! So, you can't pick your seats! The concert will probably sell out in under an hour and then tickets will be sold on secondary sites like StubHub, etc...  
 
I have noticed tickets being sold for this show already on Stub Hub! Given the info that tickets aren't supposed to be available until the 13th of May, I'd be wary of these sales!  
 
As an aside, I saw his Winnipeg show in 1996 and it was awesome! Back then we still had to phone in to buy tickets! The Internet was certainly around but online banking wasn't so prevalent! I had to redial the number for about four hours before getting through and was only successful because he added a second and third show when the first two sold out so quickly!! Good luck! I hope you get your tickets!!

I heard he has added additional shows in Saskatoon, cause his original sold out so quickly, I too saw him in 1996 and it was awesome, even in the nosebleed section. So lets hope if it sells quickly, they will add more shows.  
 
Also, not the radio was saying tickets are less then $80, (not sure about this one) but even better for that price, if that's the case.  
 
I'll be patiently waiting on Friday morning to get my tickets.

I was told that you need to show the credit card you used to buy them in order to get them! Has this changed?
