    I am looking for recommendations for removal and replacement of both overhead doors and associated operators. Comments regarding your experience with these contracting services would be greatly appreciated.

    What size are your old Garage Doors and are they wood or metal insulated?

    They are 9'x8' and 9'x7', wood doors. Looking for replacement to an insulated R6 door and replacement of the side operator on the larger door.

    I used to work for one of the Overhead Door companies here in town: I recommend you get a quote from the three of them: Overhead Door, Creative Door, Universal Door.  
     
    Make sure you compare apples to apples - i.e. R14, R16, windows/no windows/decorative hardware, etc.
