Please share Father's Day Gift ideas from new Dads to older Dads.  
 
I am thankful for treating my older Dad to a nice backyard BBQ, as he has everything, doesn't want for anything and we appreciate everything he does.  
 
What are your favourite ideas for Dad on Father's Day to tell him you appreciate him?

Both dads (mine and my son's) get something beer and/or bbq related. Go to hall mark in the mall, they have cool gift ideas this year for reasonable prices! I saw a cute bbq flipper that said #1 DAD and lots of other things. My son's dad got some gadgets (beer opener, shot glass etc) I love doing gift baskets of their favourite stuff

Of Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and especially not Valentines due to their materialistic nature. We would go out of our way to find gifts for the parents once upon a time, but quickly noticed those gifts usually ended up in a box on our doorstep after too long anyway. We all kind of agreed that less is more.  
 
When the kids were small it was a nice deal to have them make a special craft, and they still do that in elementary school grades, but we have never been much for gift giving. We prefer the simple BBQ or meal at home, not sure I recall the last time we tried to eat out on one of those "Hallmark Holidays" either. Keep it simple, keep it relaxed I figure.
