Does anybody know how much a temporary (3 month) green card costs now?
It use to be $6 US but it's been years since I've crossed the border.
Also, do you still have to pay with US $ or do they accept major credit cards?

Its still $6 US dollars - cash only and it must be US currency

to get acurate info you are best to call CBSA, google the number, that way you know you have the right answer and shouldnt encounter trouble at the border

Why would the OP call CBSA? USA visas have nothing to do with Canadian border services. They would need to contact the U.S. CBP service. Or visit their website. www.cbp.gov

Yes it is still $6 and the new form takes about 5mins to fill out take your pic and fingerprints another 5 mins did it 3 mths ago. If you are not going back before the waiver expires hand it in as you come back. Otherwise you get a talking to next time if they find an expired waiver in your pport

I'm British and only have a permanent resident card. Last time I crossed over it was $6 (recently). There were absolutely no issues and service was very friendly. I have had a talking to before though about handing my card back in on my return. I was told if I did that again i'd be denied entry (I didn't realize I had to do this!).
