What are some of the best fundraising events you have attended?  
And what types of fundraising events would interest you and/or your family to attend?

I like raffles, magazine campaigns, grocery card fundraisers, bbqs, and I'm loving watching Elkhorns flamingo invasion!

A family event would be well attended, if properly advertised.  
 
you could charge a entrance fee. or you could sell bulk event punch tickets. Such a 10 or 12 events for 10.00.  
 
events could i:nclude, but not limited to:  
Bounce castle  
races  
face painting  
tent for a magic performance  
a stuffed animal repair shop  
different games for kids  
 
then there could be a cards for food sales too. three or four stations for selling tickets is probable a good idea.

How much would you donate to have (Mayor, MP, Police Chief, Principal, Teacher, spouse, etc.) spend time in "Jail"? A variation could be "community service" in an orange jumper such as picking up litter or serving at the soup kitchen.  
 
This started when the Military Police were raising money and someone pledged $20 if the Sargent spent half an hour in one of the cells on base. Word got out and over $500 was raised including a donation from his wife.  
 
Depending on the organization raising the money, those being arrested may play along.

We have gone to a few "Bud, Spud & Steak nights" for school grads fundraising.  
...Car wash  
...have organization members donate & have a large garage sale.  
....Meat sales  
..Chocolate bar sales  
Depends on the organization & how many volunteers you have to work with.
