    Just wondering if anyone went to the show last night wondering how loud it was will my 2 1/2 year old need ear phones if so did they sell them there? Also I ordered my tickets online. They said they would call with pick up location. Or do I just pick them up at the keystone center box office?

    I would recommend hearing protection and they do sell the earmuffs at the souvenir booth. I'd check with the boxoffice for your tickets.

    They had my tickets at the front entrance gate. I just had my receipt showing I paid. (Will call as well) Not sure if that was the right thing to do. You could have printed the tickets at home but I never saw that option when I ordered online. I would check with the box office.

    We went and I would def. recommend hearing protection for a 2 yo. It's pretty loud and there were lots of younger kids screaming who didn't have ear protection on. They did sell the over the head air muffs for $10 there

    need ear protection, especially at that tender age. its like sticking your head in a drum set then having some start banging on it for 2 hours.  
     
    if it does not cause hearing loss it will scare the day lights out of a young child.

    Monsters&;Mayhem is cancelled tonight

    Due to the storm that just passed through the show has been cancelled. The Keystone Centre also has no power. They will be back next year. I was at the gate when the announcement was made. The Keystone Centre will likely clarify the situation with the tickets already purchased when they get power back.

    I read somewhere refunds would be processed Monday, or you can keep your tickets for next year. But really your best bet would be to contact what ever agency you bought the tickets through (keystone box office, ticketmaster, etc) to inquire about a refund.

    I bought tickets for my nephew's birthday. He was disappointed it was cancelled since he's been looking forward to it all week. I was really surprised to hear they won't be refunding the money... I think they should.

    The Keystone Centre and Performance Promotions advise that advance ticket holders of the Saturday, July 8, 7PM show have three options:  
    - Keep your tickets for use at next year's Monsters & Mayhem show at the Keystone Centre. (Dates will be announced soon)  
    - Redeem your tickets at a Monsters & Mayhem show held by the Outlaws of Motorsports in another city this summer. Visit the Outlaws website for a list of dates and locations.  
    Or  
    - Contact the Keystone Centre Box Office for a refund. (204) 726-3555 We ask that you wait to contact the Keystone Centre until Tuesday, July 12 as the facility is still without power.  
     
    We would like to thank everyone for your patience and understanding as we continue to try to address all the issues associated with the severe storm this past Saturday and the cancellation of the evening performance of Monsters & Mayhem. Our top priority has been safety throughout and we are now working hard to restore functionality and technology so we may continue to serve the Westman community.

    We had purchased 50/50 tickets in the afternoon but in the rush to leave when the heavier rain and lightning began we never got to find out the number drawn.  
     
    Is there any way to find out ?

    I think it was Westman Dream for Kids that did the 50/50. Could try contacting them.

    But I heard from others the tickets said "rain or shine" there was absolutely no lightening in the evening so I don't get why they cancelled this. Especially when the show was outside and not indoors. I don't see what the power going out had to do with anything. Especially if the tickets said rain or shine.

    do you think they got the power from for the music, announcers, booths, washrooms, etc.? From the Keystone Centre!

    Maybe if everyone kept reaaaaaal quiet & the trucks cut their engines they could hear the announcer shouting a play by play? Maybe everyone could hum a tune to get the crowd worked up? Maybe everyone could hold in their pee until they got home? Right? Lol. Power is an important part of the production for many reasons.

    If we didn't have that big storm that blew the main transformer to the Keystone Centre, the show would of gone on. MB Hydro had to disconnect the power from the pole feeding the Keystone Centre to even work on the transformer. Rain was not the reason for the cancellation, no power was.
