Guess you can't have a game without people who try to cheat their way to the top, but this is ridiculous. I'm sure other players have by now noticed the Mystic (blue) player over the last few days with an army of Dragonites, among other Pokemon, that are insanely strong. At this point he has control over a large chunk of Brandon's gyms that no one who plays fairly can even hope to take.

I know the teams are inherently competitive, and that there's a bonus to be gained from holding gyms, but why do you have to ruin the game for everyone else? This isn't even fun anymore, because there's no chance of even coming close to beating his Pokemon to take the gym. And even if you manage it, I'm sure he'll be back soon enough to stick his Dragonite or whatever he has back in there again. Anyone else getting fed up with this guy?

you can report them to the game maker using the form above. dont play the game but if you read reddit. GPS spoofing is rampant. Supposedly niantic is soft banning people.

alternatively cant you join up with multiple teams to take over a gym.
As for the "It's a game" comment so are most hobbies.
would you feel the same if you found out if red deer had used over aged players to beat the wheat kings or ped's

Its a first world problem thats for sure but just as valid as 99% of the other posts on ebrandon.

some intresting stats including the number of users in the US over 20 million

estimated to make its company over 10 million a day. pretty sure that means the people who play it have a job. Probably better paying and easier than yours which is why they have time to play

Not much you can do OP, most people are reporting said accounts but other than that it's a matter of taking back the gyms. I've seen a couple change back to other teams but I'm hesitant to throw time into taking on if these guys are simply going to take it back again so I've been waiting to see what happens with the ones taken back first.
Hopefully Niantic does something about them though because its an awesome game otherwise.

I play the game casually and I have not attempted to take over or battle in a gym ( team Yellow by the way) as my Pokemon are not high enough. Maybe one day but the fun is collecting and evolving your Pokemon and I enjoy that. I do hope the cheater get punished or something as it just does not make it fair. I mainly play clash royal and go up against ppl that pay to play. Again sometime it unfair but that is life. I do beat them which bitter sweet. This game are meant to give everyone a level playing field but that not the case. Its also out of your control so don't let it ruin the fun that can be had. Enjoy the game and clash on!!!

haven't come across him yet. gyms in the south end seem to change very regularly

See, I'm not trying to say "Oh, I can't beat this guy so I'm going to complain" - my issue is with be fact that spoofing isn't the way the game wasn't meant to be played. But if you want to keep playing and hope to match people like this, you have to spoof yourself, which destroys the point of the game. I was just wanting to see if anyone else was as frustrated as my friends and I are about it.

And if some of you think this whole issue or the game itself is stupid, then that's fine - but why would you waste the effort to say that here? What are you accomplishing with that?

Some of the gyms have been un-run today judging by the posts i've been reading on the pokemon go group brandon. I can't confirm though as I live in the middle of nowhere and just got to hit my first pokestop today lol.

Because being judgmental is more fun for them, unless they are playing ball-in-a-cup or stick and a hoop.

I agree, cheating in any game ruins it for others and yourself in the end.
