You might've heard of the odd goalie stealing a game, but this is a new one. Video below is of a Russell beer store break-in earlier this month released by RCMP. If you can help identify either of these (alleged) goofs please contact Russell RCMP at 204-773-3051.

at first, it looked a little bit like a former Wheat King chasing after Chelios! until they got to the beer store - but then again no - he''''s retired.........still - whoever it is must be pretty skilled as they were able to carry at least a dozen beer and a hockey stick, on the run.....definitely something they don''''t teach at goalie schools (at least not anymore)

they get caught then they will not be laughing anymore. I can't understand how people feel good about taking people's properties stuff.

Totally agree - just trying to have a laugh after a really crappy week at work......didn't mean to belittle the fact that theft is theft - sorry.....

Looks like Ricky and Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys. Bubbles in the goalie equipment.

But all that for 4 cases of beer...pretty sad.

This had all of the makings of going viral and looks to be heading that way... looks like its featured on the national CBC.ca as "most Canadian heist " USA talk shows can't be far behind.
Imagine the further it goes the harder it's going to be to hide, or to not turn ones self in and face the music.

The stupid thing is the door glass probably cost more to repair than the value of the beer that was stolen, just like the thieves who go car to car busting windows for pocket change.
