Nothing in the police media release this morning.

Apparently it was a death but not suspicious according to this.  
 

Just FYI, there’s been spec online re. police presence on 2300 block of Lorne. On CrimeReports it’s listed as death “other.” #bdnmb #Westman

I drove by at roughly 08:30, and the emergency vehicles where just arriving. All I saw was a bylaw enforcement vehicle beside a fire truck, and on Lorne, just east of tenth street, there was a sedan that had been hit on the passenger side, roughly centred right between front and back doors. I don't like to stick around as I don't want to impede the emergency workers, so I kept on going. In total I believe I saw two ambulances, a cop car, the fire truck, and the above mentioned bylaw enforcement vehicle. I did not notice if the Bylaw vehicle was part of the accident or not.

The 2300 block of Lorne is just west of the university, nowhere near 10th street. It's between 24th and 23rd street and It also happened yesterday.
