Our box just shut down and is saying Loading...  
 
Is anyone else having a problem or did ours die?

Try unplugging it from the back and wait 1 minute and plugging it back in. Do not unplug the power cord but unplug the other cord.

Is fine.

Had a few probs with mts service tonight as well in the East end

yup, i usually have to unplug my recievers every two months or so to reset them, update them. no other issues except it would be nice to be able to make the memory even bigger.

I had a message in my TV tonight that said MTS boxes being recalled due to over heating. Wonder if this is related.

That recall is on specific boxes. People who need to replace the box are notified via on tv message

With MTS tv you can upgrade you pvr to one that has a bigger hard drive.  
All boxes come with a 160GB hard drive.  
Which allows you to record 30-35 hours of HD programing.  
The upgraded box has 500GB hard drive which is over 100 hours of HD programs.  
MTS does charge a $50 per household fee to upgrade all boxes in your house.  
I upgraded over the summer.

There was a power outage here in east end today. And it has nothing to do with our boxes. It has to do with the internet and tv connection lines outside. They are trying to fix it currently. May take the night to do so. Supposed to call mts tech support tomorrow if nothing is still online. If you look at the connection box if its blinking red in broadband 1 its still down. One it and the service light below turn green its up and running again!called them myself today and this is what they told me!

My electricity went down for a minute or so. I was wondering about that, but my electricity and tv and net came back on right away.
