Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to brandon and I have a question...where can I get a new portable garbage bin? The one with a black lid that sits outside ur house. Mine was stolen one night and have no clue what step to take next? Lol and who does that???

you know your bin #? I assume you will need to contact the city, they will want your bin #, and will advise from there.

Same thing happened to me when I moved in. I was pretty sure I knew which one was mine but I waited until my landlord got the bin# for me and then I found it across the alley. Guy came by my place afterwards but I just informed him that I got my numbers now and it was my bin so he just payed for a new one because technically he lost his own bin. Even if someone steals yours it''s still your fault. Just the way it is lol

I don''t know if everyones neighbourhood was like ours when they sent out the new bins, but they just dumped all the bins for our street in our front yard (corner lot on a street with no lane). As such neighbours were grabbing bins all willy nilly, so if you had a similar situation, or are unsure of how you acquired the bins (moved in after this time etc.) I do advocate, taking a picture of your bins & e-mailing the city the #''s you have. They didn't have the right #''s on file for most of our block, and were attempting to ticket houses on opposite ends of the block when bins were left out (they seem to have given up on enforcing this though). I think they do have all the right #'s in the system now for our block. The roll out of new bins was a giant mess!

Will know yourbin number then you will have to look for the bin yourself for two weeks.then call the city back if you havent found yours.
