Any new news on this. Or this abduction newer carberry. West man is becoming such a violent place. It makes me worried for my young daughter.

There always violence everywhere you go and it has always happened in the past, but now with social media every little thing gets pointed out and is heard. Before you wouldn't hear as much about all the violence. In the past it was just more hidden. Now it's out in the open.

The police haven't released any info since Friday, but I would think their going to release more info on this and where their investigation is at, at some point this week. Or atleast I'd hope so.

The Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate the circumstances that lead to the discovery of a body on the eastern outskirts of Brandon Friday morning. At this time, investigators continue to consider the death to be suspicious. Forensic examination of the scene was completed on Friday and the body has been transported to Winnipeg for examination by the Office of the Medical Examiner.[/i]

The same thing. I've also often wondered if the person(s) responsible for beating the dog in souris a couple years ago were found. Or the dogs recently near minnedosa. I would assume not as it most likely would have hit social media.

There was never any further media release on this topic from police. But It is being treated as a suicide, and still being investigated as of a month ago. But there is still a lot of unanswered questions. A friend of mine was a relative of the man.

Special Release - Suspicious Death UPDATE FROM NOVEMBER 4TH 2016  
 
On November 4th 2016, Brandon Police members responded to the dicovery of a deceased male on 65th ST East. The Criminal Investigation Unit has determined that the death is not considered suspicious however; circumstances following the death are still under investigation. Personal property from the deceased was stolen from the scene including a firearm.  
 
The Brandon police service is seeking the public’s assistance from anyone who would have travelled in the 1900 Block of 65th St east on November 4th 2016 between 1:00 am and 5:00 am.  
 
Anyone with information is asked to call the Brandon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.[/i]
