I got gas at the White Owl in town and the Purolator van was dropping off packages, he took the 250, he said it was only one lane and there was some drifting as well. I'm considering it myself. Not sure. Would appreciate more replies!!

Has anyone actually travelled this yet or spoken to anyone who has?

Have to get to Winnipeg and even with my awesome winter tires and far too much experience with bad driving conditions, I still get leery.

I just tried to go to Portage. I turned around at Carberry. The right hand side is super icy and the left hand is snow packed. I didn't have to be there, so wasn't going any further. I drive a TON for work and my thoughts were exercise extreme caution. Lots of vehicles going slow but then lots going crazy fast.
