I'm looking for a massage therapist. I know there are more then a few threads on here already, but I've gone to a couple who people said are good and honestly could have been worked over harder by my 7 year old grandchild.  
Any recommendations?

Also would be great if they direct billed to Great West Life

The girls there are fantastic and they direct bill.

My wife had a pinched nerve in her L5 I believe it is ,and doctors and specialists said there was nothing they could do for her except heaven pain meds and surgery,she couldn't even talk or stand with out crying in complete pain and suffering she was on the waiting lift for surgery in winnipeg,well I'm 220 pounds and I have her a deep tissue massage until she was crying for about a good 10+ minutes and after that she had no more pain at all and she could walk again with out feeling like she was being stabbed,so if I'm not a professional and I helped her and fixed her with aDEEP TISSUE Massage,why could the doctors or chiropractors help her and the supposed to be the experts???!??? P.s and she even quit taken the pain meds the doctor prescribed to her .......so wtf are the docs excuses for not helping her and handing out pain "meds" like there skittles??????

Mayb I should start doing deep tissue massages! Anyone interested,if you don't cry it ain't being done right!

Good luck ever finding someone/somewhere that can direct bill GW. I've got an app for them that you can submit and get your money back in 2 days.

West fit direct bills GWL. I have had massages from a few from there due to scheduling and the best one for deep tissue is Jody Douglas

You can call and see if they will direct bill to GWL. They do direct bill for my plan.

I have had both Patricia and Jessica give me massages and thought they were pretty deep. but not sure on my pain level and yours. I would say either are very good choices.  
 
I know they bill some carriers but not sure who. I do not have coverage. I go to Patricia every 3 to 4 weeks since fall. Hubby started with Jessica as has one of my daughters.  
 
I would also suggest asking for more pressure if you do not feel it is enough.

Direct billing is done, and usually never a wait.

Kat at rejuvenate is one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever received. If Kay is not available then I would suggest Angel. Both those girls get right on there.

At natural wellness is amazing at deep tissue massage and they direct bill great west. This is where I go and never had an issue. If you can take the pain of the deep tissue he will deliver. Never been disappointed and highly recommend.
