Wanting to here some reviews on the fair. I have a young family and I'm on the fence about going because of the cost. What is your review on it

We went with the grandchildren and had a great time. It was $12.00 each for the adults to get in. Tickets for the rides were $1.00 each and each ride was 4 tickets. They had fun. If we did it again, we would take bottled water and maybe snacks, even a meal. And just buy fries. We did find one booth that you got 3 large chicken fingers and fries for $10.00. They were very good. Some parents pulled wagons for the kids. I thought that was a good idea. It is pricey. Bottled water $4.00 each. Sometimes I thought we were more excited than the grandchildren!!

If your kids are little they may enjoy Tinkertown in Winnipeg more (and cheaper).  
 
Or Sunday has 10 and under unlimited rides for $20. You do still have to pay to get in or they usually have a pancake breakfast before the fair opens for minimal cost or donation which is cheaper than the gate admission.  
 
Or just take them to the parade on Saturday.
