I believe this is crucial when dealing with ones assets and money. I have recently spoke with the bank manager who was wonderful and has made efforts to rectify the situation.
With respect to CU's... is it still true that they do not report to the credit bureau? I remember at one time if you had all your money at a CU then attempted to get financing elsewhere you potentially showed no credit history which historically has been worse then bad credit. Just curious.
Thank you all for your feedback, it is appreciated. " |

credit unions do report to the credit bureau but not very often. I know when I got my car loan the guy commented on that-he saw I had a westoba mortgage but he had nothing much for credit history. " |

Thank you for your response, yes many people don't realize how this can impact you in the future if you have not established a credit history. I wonder why they don't report? I have been told this is because it almost forces you to remain with a credit union.
I certainly am not trying to start a debate on this, however it is interesting.
The decision is a personal one.
Thank you again for all the feedback everyone.
