This may be a ridiculous question to some on this site, however, here goes  
What is the bird in the photo? It is probably just a regular, often seen bird to many, perhaps. This bird I have never seen before in our yard and I could swear when it flew away it had a white band/stripe on the right wing.  
Just curious as I Am really enjoying all the different birds in the yard this year  
Now I will attempt to post the photo :/

Looks like a common nighthawk. Those guys eats tons of mosquitoes!

Hahaha, Adam, that's funny it recognized it as a lizard! LOL!  
 
I am pretty sure I have seen some Ibis near my place (I live South of Brandon, not in a city).  
Here's an article from last summer that has both the nighthawk and ibis mentioned.
