Pelvic pain

I second Element Physio. Their lead pelvic floor Physio, Tryna, is about to start maternity leave, and they have a newer grad with training in pelvic floor treatment as well. Tryna is, IMHO, a miracle worker.
If your friend would prefer a more mature woman as a physiotherapist, Element can recommend the best alternate to Tryna. I have forgotten her name, but she is highly recommended.
Pelvic floor Physiotherapists are likely to be very sensitive and compassionate, and treat your friend with great dignity. It is a sensitive and possibly mentally uncomfortable kind of treatment, and they are prepared to deal with that.
I had some really unpleasant things going on, and pelvic floor Physiotherapy has made a massive difference. And yes, I was also having difficulty sitting because of the pain.
A gyne visit might also be in order.
There is no reason to suffer this kind of pain in silence and without treatment.
