So I got home from school today and found an envelope that said "Out of courtesy we forwarded it" i thought it was something from my old apartment, so I proceed to open it. What i found, shocked me!!! It was a cheque for the amt of $2500, adressed to me. I had no idea what it was about so I proceeded to read and it was something about a secret shopper program and all i had to do was cash the cheque at my lcoal bank and take it to a western union place and send the money to the UK after my 200 earnings of course..... so i researched it because obviously free money is too good to be true. Turns out according to a friends friend who works for the RCMP says its fraud.... so please dont do it. Apparently another friend recieved the same thing in the mail today. How messed up is this? I am wondering how people got my name and address? Whats everyones opinion on this??
