Lots of handmade items that will make great gifts

that Tommy Gun place in the mall, get him a gift card or some dude stuff, beard oil or whatever else they have? Idk, never been in there so I’m unsure of what they have to shop for inside

I can only imagine the gifts they receive at Christmas and year end so prefer to give useable type gifts. Have done gift cards for movies, restaurants, Tim's, icecream at year end etc. Or nice dish soap and tea towels, bath and body works soap, pedicure type set, snacks, herb basket or plant etc.

Alot of teachers buy extra things for the classroom out of their own pocket. A gift card to micheals or somewhere like that could come in handy. Also gift cards for coffee or lunch places I agree teachers have tons of cups and pictures ect. Disposable gifts are the way to go!

I usually do gift cards for amazon, but for his bus driver I doncanadian tire.

We do gift cards at Xmas and in June. I can only imagine all the trinkets, mugs, etc that teachers receive every year. We’ve given gift cards to the mall, DQ, Tims, restaurants, theatre...depending on the individual. Gift cards to the mall are nice because they can be used so many places, he could go to a movie, have a meal, get a haircut, buy sports equipment, a book, clothes, etc,

We usually give a gift card or a mug with hot chocolate. Honestly, I don’t know of any other profession that gets so much appreciation and gifts for doing their paid job so I would think they would be grateful for anything they get, even if it’s a card.

When it comes to gift cards for teachers just curious what would be a good amount?

Just do you. Nothing wrong with $5 gift card, nothing wrong with $20 or more. Give what you can and don’t worry about what others do

As a former Phys. Ed. teacher, I have been fortunate enough in the past to receive gifts from my students. It is humbling, and I am so grateful for anything I ever received. I have received everything from a simple card wishing me a Merry Christmas all the way up to a liquor store gift card, and they all have been much appreciated. So on behalf of this old guy, thank-you so much for thinking of us. Have a great holiday season everyone.

As much as I appreciate the gifts and gift cards, I always love getting home-made cards from my kiddos.

What about any kind of gift card. Tim Horton's you can buy a small denomination. Consumable gifts are likely more practical. Dainty tray, baking, nuts, there really is no limit. Like "another coffee cup?"

Gift cards always work yes! Try Hallmark in Mall they have beautiful things in their too!!

We have given gift cards in the past, homemade gifts, my son loves to draw so likes to include a special picture he has made.  
I'm sure they would appreciate anything you give them.  
Give what you can afford.

this idea!! Or a small unused toy for the Christmas Cheer Board. My kids are all older but this would have saved so much grief trying to buy a gift. We did gift cards. One year the teacher was an avid gardener so we bought a lawn ornament for her garden. But GC are always simple and they can use them and not have a stock pile of items.

- homemade Christmas ornament with the child’s name and year on it (which could be hung on the classroom tree every year)  
- donations in the teacher's name depending on the cause near and dear to their heart  
- personal use gift cards or gift cards to buy class supplies  
- movie gift card  
- heartfelt letters/cards/notes

I think gift cards are perfect especially to places like Dollarama, staples and even Walmart so that money goes right back into the classroom. Unless you are a teacher I don’t think anyone realizes that teachers shell out hundreds of dollars per year out of pocket for supplies in their classroom as their school classroom budget is very small.
