The Christmas Season
12/21/2010 at 12:35 PM
What is Christmas and it's need to have 'things?' Let's take time to re-evaluate our life and be thankful for the good that we do have. I am glad for a roof over my head, food for the day, and knowing that my children are safe and comfortable in our new neighborhood. We don't have a Christmas tree with fancy decorations, or gifts to give each other but we do have laughter and warmth to share. I am a single parent who works hard to provide for my family, and encourage and teach my children that hard work and treating others with respect and kindness has it's own rewards besides material items or money. We are not rich nor are we poor as we have found that life is not to be taken for granted but cherished.. It's not to say that I don't get caught up in the Wants/must haves but when I am reminded that family togetherness is whats most important I can enjoy and have faith that our needs will be met ... MERRY CHRISTMAS to Everyone and I hope you find yourself blessed with happiness and tranquility..
