My son and I do RACK. Random Acts of Christmas Kindness. We bake for ER staff, RCMP offices, radio offices, bring hot chocolate to the bus drivers downtown, plug meters, hand out candy canes, make sock gift bags for homeless, help deliver hampers, help build hampers, volunteer at the food bank... Etc. We do something everyday in Dec.
