I've seen some nice gift baskets, with anything from hot chocolate or coffee plus a few fun things like cookies and chocolates in with them.....seen them at Walmart, Staples and Winners, quite a few of them come with things they can reuse, such as mugs etc they range anywhere from $15-35....always thought those would make cool gifts

Do you need to bring a gift? We have these types of events quite often and I always get flustered when somebody gives me a gift. As a host I would never expect a gift. If anything, bring an appetizer or a dessert so everybody present can share it!

Anything unexpected is always nice. Whether it be a scented candle, a new tea towel, bottle of wine, seasonal napkins, a special soap, specialty coffee beans or tea, or a nice dip and crackers, a fruit tray, peanuts ...all good.

I think any of these things are a nice touch. Enjoy your evening.
