Craft/baking Tables

I was walking through the town centre a couple of weeks ago and it was full of small tables with various baking, knitting, etc.
Does any one know if there is anything similar today? Where local people are set up with baking or crafts?
The person I spoke to that day claimed this tables would be at the town centre for at least a few more weeks and I went yesterday and there was nothing.
