Has anyone ever had their wedding out at the Ditchfield property east of the GreenSpot? I was thinking about having my wedding out there next summer and was just wondering if anyone could share their experience with having their wedding (or other event) at the property.

Went to a wedding there last summer. It is a gorgeous venue! In the back behind the store is large grassy areas for a tent. There's a hut made for a bar. The river runs behind with a train bridge over. It's so scenic, and you would know the river was there until you climb up the bit of a hill back there. It's a beautiful hidden gem in brandon.

Absolutely gorgeous place for a wedding I would think.

I haven't been there for a wedding, but the grounds are beautiful and the place itself is a work of art.

Has anyone been down there for ice cream

I was there last year for a wedding and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend having your wedding there especially if you have a large guest list as there is a lot of room for everyone. I believe ice cream will be open for this weekend?? Is what I heard around but no harm in calling to make sure.  
 
There are definitely a lot of antiques and unique items to browse while you enjoy your time there.  
 
A definite MUST go!!
