There seems to be an increasing trend of olympians immigrating to other countries in order to be able to compete in their sports field. For example, the Canadian mogul skier that now skis for Australia and the Japanese pairs figure skater that changed her citizenship to Russia.  
 
Any thoughts on whether this practice should be allowed to continue or not?  
 
Is it fair to all other competitors or those striving to become olympic atheletes in their home countries to be potentially passed over by someone born and raised elsewhere?
