Just a little insider information on this coming Memorial Cup in your fine City of Brandon Manitoba..  
 
A tradition started by Elspeth Leger in Moncton a number of Memorial Cup’s ago of having a Fan Brunch or Fan Breakfast for visiting fans from across the country as well as local fans will again happen this year .  
 
The tradition continued by Joanne Berlette in Kitchener, and was still alive and well in Rimouski last year will be repeated again this year !  
 
The organizing committee tried to get a breakfast or brunch going, but it did not pan out, but gave a bunch of us “junior hockey junkies” or “Memorial Cup Junkies” the opportunity to organize something.  
 
Those who have attended a past memorial cup know what fun this event is, and those who haven't but may want to get to this Memorial Cup in Brandon as it is a little closer maybe than most years, this is an event you don't want to miss.
