Visitiation Cancellations Vent
3/13/2009 at 1:02 PM
Okay, if a female cancels a visitation, usually the father gets very upset... especially if it is frequent...
However, if a father cancels frequently, it's okay, especially if he claims he has to work?? SOO, if I plan on working, he cancels I have to pay a babysitter to fill in??? Why shouldn't he "pay" a babysitter if he decides he has to work on his scheduled weekend??? (okay, upon discussions, if I am not busy/aren't working, then I have no reason...but it should be discussed... Do I want them to go to a sitter, OR, just plan around it..communication)
I am talking about men who have a "regular" schedule...
In court I commented about this, and if HE chooses to take an extra day of working, then he can pay his own sitter... The judge here in Brandon said, "we can't make him"... PLEAASE... So, in other words, I ALWAYS have to have a back up in case he decides to "work"..
However, I am also talking about the same man who ~ I will drive 1 hour.. (arrange visiting) to save HIM an hour driving... however, he won't drop the kids off an hour later...to save ME a trip!!! (hour extra for him, I have transportation for the kids home, but an hour later) SAD.....
