After seeing the "missed connection" thread where the guy is looking for a women he met in a theater, I'm wondering this.  
 
How on Earth do you actaully go about getting a date or getting a number from someone you just randomly meet while out and about?  
 
There is a nice looking young guy building decks in my apt block on 26th street who seems nice enough... Sometimes I think I should just walk right up and give him my number.. lol...But I'm so chicken (yes I feel 12 years old) and would hate to look silly if he had a girlfriend ot just wans't interested.. He was moving some bricks off my lawn the other day becasue I wanted to plant more flowers...I just didn't know what to say! Boy won't I feel silly if he reads this!  
 
I have never been single so long in my life. I guess maybe all the other times I met men I wasn't looking and now that I'm looking it seems hard?  
 
So sick of the bar scene... All those guys suck and are looking for one thing only plus they are usually all under 21... I would not mind a young guy depending on the maturity level, but it seems most of them just annoy me!  
 
How do people do it? How can one stay single for more then 6 months? Is anyone else as frustrated as me? lol... What a dumb question I'm sure there are tons of frustrated single people.  
 
I just want to settle down, grow a life with someone, Get married eventually... All that good stuff....I get So frustrated when I see couples shopping together and stuff..lol.. Never have I ever had this problem.
