we did it in our own home with just two witness's and a JP. Depends on how quiet you are keeping it. City Hall would be beautiful once they get all their poinsettia's set up.

That's what we did...

A few days before Christmas, it was my day off of work, and since it was a weekday City Hall let us do it among the poinsettia's for free. Their only rule was that anything we moved needed to be put back. Hired a marriage commissioner after getting our license the previous week.

19 years ago next month.

Like do we need wedding bands? How does elopement work?

without all the fuss.

Up to you if you want to exchange wedding bands. Whoever you get to marry you, you can meet them and take that out of the vows it you do not want to exchange rings.

Maybe your first step would be finding a marriage commissioner who can marry you and meet with them.

PM me and come to Souris OR I can come to you, Marriage licence is $100 and you will need your birth certificate and if applicable any divorce or death certificates of former spouses You then have 90 days to have the wedding. All that is needed is 2 witnesses (they can be strangers and I can bring them with me) Marriage licence is available at Central United Church on 8th and Lorne
