Building Materials

This group is for people who would like to help make a difference, small and large. Things need to change in the way we use energy, water and our resources.
There are natural ways to produce all of the energy a home needs without buying it from power or gas companies. Buildings should change to be more efficient not just in energy use, but in construction methods, not just to benefit the consumer, but the community as a whole.
I'm looking to gather woods of all sorts, nails, screws, extra hardwood or laminate, tile, electrical outlets, wire, light fixtures, doors, windows, bricks and stone, steel or wooden beams, pvc piping, toilets, sinks, counter tops, cabinets, concrete, rebar, straw bales, drywall, plaster, etc.
2x4, 2x6, OSB, Plywood, posts and beams.
If you have an old barn or old house your going to be tearing out, Please let us know and we would be happy to remove whatever we could.
Even if you have tools that you would like to get out of the garage, or to sell at a good discount, everything would help greatly.
We could use all tools from hammers to chainsaws. Chisels, band saws, pretty much anything.
Chances are, if you have it and aren't using it. We need it.
Its a group of 4 friends that are looking to build a sustainable home, and any building material you have, we would be interested in gathering for construction.
If you think you know someone that would like to help out, please let them know about this.
Thanks Very Much.
