Gst checque after marriage

I was told that after I get married I will no longer get a gst checque. Then I was told I do...but it will have both our names on it and it will be lower. Is this true? And does anyone know what will happen to our gst for the next two pay periods after october? Will they disappear? We are getting married oct 10...if anyone knows a website that tells me more information PM me.
