Thoughts on rising food prices, farmers..

Yesterday Global national had an interesting story on Canadian farmers and concerns all around about the rise in food costs, also that dairy is set to go up even more. The story said 75% of people in poll were concerned about the soaring food costs and 17% had already made adjustments on eating habits.
This brings me to say how many people are going to be choosing more non nutritious food just to be able to afford to eat and living in a farming province as well, this does effect us and anyone going to the grocery store. Any thoughts on this, this topic is on the news quite a bit these days.
