We've had rental income in the past. The link provided is the best source of info. You'll have extra paperwork to complete, reciepts, etc. If you're not comfortable with taxes, it would probably be advisable to pay someone to do it for you, although it's not outrageously hard to do yourself. It basically counts as self-employment income.
