Had a home invasion & vehicle stolen last week trying to cope best I can .my question do I qualify for victims compensation what would that entail ?

Compensation. Definitely not. Counseling, yes.

for what? Your losses? A home invasion or a break in?  
If you are the victim of a serious crime, you  
may be eligible for compensation (money,  
services, support) for the physical and/or  
emotional injury you suffered. A victim is  
anyone who suffered a physical or emotional  
injury because of a serious crime.

Rue. If you are a citizen of The City of Brandon and are the victim of a crime, then you are entitled to speak to one of the victim assistance workers at the Brandon Police station. Please call them and set up an appointment. The RCMP have the same but it's out of Winnipeg. BPS victims assistance has a full time employee on staff and many volunteers helping out. They are great people to talk to and will have info on any follow up you need. (204)729-2335 or here is a link of their services.
