Just being curious - this expression was used in one of the news items about the 30 year old that refused to leave his parents home in Syracuse N.Y. and the parents took the adult son to court to get a court order for him to leave.  
 
I know the expression has nothing to do with cheese but am curious as to what it means - can't seem to find an explanation on any website.  
 
If you know what this means - I would appreciate your explanation

It's a commercial from years ago..."Can't get your kids to leave home?! Stop cooking with cheese!!"  
 

and I now recall seeing that commercial at one time. And I do agree completely with what "ideas" wrote.
