Is it worth going up after Countryfest to pick beer cans/ bottles ? or is there so many people picking it's not worth the trip ?

I know in the past different sports teams used to do that as an organized team fundraiser. I am not sure if that still happens or not though. I can't see why they would stop.

If they have enough volunteers this year but usually the high school bands and sports team do it to fundraise

Beer cans and bottles picked up this year..the whole place looks like a garbage dump. Crap everywhere. It’s the same every year but something like “common sense” needs to prevail during these events. If you take it up there you need to be responsible to take it home with you. Hung over or not you need to look after your stuff and dispose of it properly. I would never walk away from my mess the way others have done after this weekend. If country fest was smart, they would impose a clean up fee on every camping package they sell. This mess will take days, of many people cleaning it up. I’m totally disappointed to see this. So OP yes a clean up is warranted.

And other organizations pick up the cans and garbage. They salvage what they can and donate to homeless shelters. I’ve been going for 12 years and this year was one of the cleanest I’ve seen, on that note I did not drive by the rush camping on way out. It is usually the worst place.
