This week Crime Stoppers has gone too far.

In the latest episode in the papers and CKX News they feature an old friend of mine named Robert Moyer.
He is a 70-year-old resident of Brandon who has been charged with theft and failing to attend court.
The authorities allege that Mr. Moyer was intoxicated in the Super store, and had stuffed a small quantity of meat products up his shirt and down his pants, (can you imagine how uncomfortable that would feel?).
Instead of chasing this Canadian Son as a dangerous felon, why can’t they treat him with the dignity and honour he deserves?
He worked for many years at the Manitoba Hydro steam plant, and raised up to seven children, (His hers and ours), and lost one daughter through a tragic drowning accident.
His late wife “Angel”, of many years suffered from throat cancer and had to communicate by way of an electronic devise.
He is probably too ashamed to appear in Court, but where else would a seventy-year-old pensioner be hiding, but at home, the only place he can afford on a meagre Canadian Pension.
I can only hope he gets the help and counselling he obviously requires, and not be locked in a prison cell like a dog that has misbehaved.
