This place endured a mass killing of children before it was formed. It was to commemorate the memory of these children, and the approach done for forgiveness between countries. It was a move to prevent further trouble. It is still different from the utopia the OP was hoping for as it come with it's dark ghosts/shadow...although, it does show a story of redeeming forgiveness.

I would love this idea too (along with being uncomplicated, no stress from imposed deadlines, etc., and a willingness to see the other as more important than themselves), but if there is one person, that person will bring his past problems with him/her. If there are two, it compounds. Depending on the personalities, it would unfortunately increase the opinions & resulting conflict.
I am curious as to why you posted this thought, as I really expected attacks to come in response to your post. Considering this expectation, I view your post as honest but bold. I would not expect you to post why publicly, but am curious enough to invite you to pm me. I would like to chat with you further about this.
