That very well may be true, however, if signs are posted to the contrary, you may in violation of the provincial law.
"3. The minister may cause signs to be posted on or adjacent to resource roads prohibiting, controlling or governing the operation of vehicles on those roads.
4. Except under the authority of a permit issued under section 5, no person shall operate a motor vehicle or an off-road vehicle in contravention of a sign posted under section 3"
