Looking for some recommendations on hairdressers who are really good with curly hair, someone who cuts it dry.

I have very curly here, but have never had a hairdresser cut it when it was dry! Is this better for your hair? Do tell!
P.s. I go to Jackie at gingersnaps, great with curly hair

I’m just starting to embrace my curls after nearly 20 years of straightening it. I’ve been trying to learning more about curls and I’ve read a few times that they should be cut dry, curl by curl. Better for shaping/layering I think.

I have had the same hairdresser since I was a teenager, she's in Winnipeg but is really good. PM if you want to drive to Winnipeg, and I'll give you her info.

I also see Erin at bodicures. She gave me the best haircut for my curls that I’ve had since moving to brandon. I think because she has such curly hair herself, she really understands how to cut it for others with curly hair!

I'm in search of a really good hairdresser... seems like whenever I find a good one she takes maternity leave and never comes back. Lol! Totally not complaining that they've embraced motherhood. I'm just asking if anybody out there has a good hairstylist that they'd love to share?
