It's about the time of year that my hair is unbelievably dry and my normal products just aren't cutting it to provide nourishment and help my hair be frizz-free/static-free (or as much as can be reasonably expected).  
 
Just wondering if anyone has any tips to keep their hair soft and smooth they'd be willing to share with me? My hair is fairly long (well below my shoulders) and naturally wavy. Everywhere I go, it seems people have gorgeous hair and mine is just a wreck these days.

It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Product. I have naturally curly hair, and this is the best conditioning product I have found by far. It's not cheap, but you don't need much. I also only wash my hair once a week, twice at the very most. I do wet it and re-style it, but actual shampoo and condition as in frequently as possible.

Is this product purchased online or is it available in Brandon somewhere?

I purchase mine online, but have seen it in the past at one of the hair salons in the Shopper's Mall (sorry, not from Brandon and am not sure the name of the salon).

Every now and then I have seen it at Winners. It is hit and miss. It does work.

I just emulsified some coconut oil in my hands and ran it thru the ends of my hair. It really helped with the static.

I second this product. You might have to buy it through a hair stylist/cosmo prof or it might be available at Chatters. It is pricey but worth every penny. Even helped fix damaged hair.

My hair too! But I’m getting my cut and styled shorter ! Needs a good cut! I’m going to try that product too!!

Hair products of all time are the Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Shine Shampoo and conditioner. I have an odd combination of oily scalp but dry damaged hair (I keep it permed). The other one the whole family adores is the Rosemary/Mint line. They have others like Keratin Infused ones and rose oil which are pretty nice too - but the morrocan oil one is by far our fave. I have bought numerous Canadian brands of morrocan oil but they are just not as good.  
 
This stuff is phenomenal for softening and static reduction but not being weighty- I hate running out!  
 
Sadly this stuff is only available in the US - so we used to go down to Minot once a year and I'd buy a dozen bottles to keep us going. (Or I would order a bunch from Target or Walmart and have it shipped to Border Services in Dunseith)  
 
I'm so happy to live fifteen minutes from Bellingham Washington now - I won't have to buy so much at once!!

I use Moroccan oil hair masks ($3-$4 at Walmart in the cut open packages) in place of conditioner and a wonderful (but expensive) product called Saryna Key African Shea Oil. It smooths my frizzy static hair from this dry winter air and smells amazing

Many different reasons for dry hair so the right solution is not the same for everyone. Systems Beauty College teaches a lot about hair condition and products. The retail carried there is also a very good price. Pop on and ask your question there.
