Does any of the marijuana dispensary stores take back the containers for recycling? I have plenty just didn’t take the time to ask.

I believe Garden Variety does. Bf and roommate save theirs and take them there, as they get $0.50 store credit per container, up to $5 store credit per visit.

But after checking the prices of the same stuff at Delta 9, across the street they still come in cheaper after the max 5$ credit.  
 
They also have a recycling bin in store.

Yes you can only get $5.00 at a time but you can save it up. I got some “free” product with some of my purchases, you still have to buy enough to be over your rebate. So say a gram is $10.35 you would have to pay $ 0.35

.... above is not entirely correct. You cannot legally get “free” cannabis from a dispensary.  
 
Also in the example above you would have to take in 10 containers (max per purchase) as well as having purchased enough product under their loyalty program to make the other $5.00. In order to reduce the price from $10.35 to $0.35.  
 
I am uncertain how much you have to spend to get to $5.00 within the loyalty program.
