In June, it was announced that, people who had a valid T2201 Disability Certificate filed with Revenue Canada, would receive a one time $600.00 payment. There was some issue getting this bill voted through. Does anyone know if this is still happening or has anyone received it?

The bill was never passed so no money is coming.

This was blocked by the conservatives.

It was in a bill that i:ncluded penalties for those who falsely claimed CERB benefits (including possible jail time).  
The NDP would not support the possible jail time provision, the Conservatives won't support another bill until the House sits full time (no remote sittings) and the BLOC wouldn't support the bill until the Feds agreed to debate health transfer payments to the provinces.  
 
Without the support of at least one Opposition Party, the minority Liberals could not pass the bill that i:ncluded the disability payment. They suggested it be removed from the Bill and passed separately, but the Opposition said no.  
 
The Liberal Government has promised they will figure out another way to get the $600 payment to those with a Disability Tax Credit - but that it will take time because of laws surrounding releasing personal tax information, and in the end. may require those who qualify to apply (as a way of receiving permission to release your tax info/status to the government to verify you DO qualify).
