Do all credit unions charge for personal cheques and charge you when you take in rolls coins ?

My CU not only charges 10 cents for each roll they also deposit the coin into your account and then withdraw the cash which makes for two transactions. Not good if you get charged a fee for making over your limit for transactions!

So unless something has drastically changed, Compass CU never charged for depositing coin in the past however its been over a year since I last was there doing it.  
 
In regards to account transaction fees, every CU will have fees associated with a transaction however all of them will also have packages you can get your chequing account set up with so you'll only be paying 1 monthly fee ranging from $10 to $25. (I think) I'd assume all of the fees for transactions or account packages should be able to be found on their websites.

Looked on Westoba's website, couldn't find anything.

In regards to Westoba, they do charge a fee for depositing coin rolls, though the first and last time I did it they waived the fee because I wasn't aware that I would have to pay, so I cannot remember how much it was.  
 
In regards to a chequing account, there is a base monthly fee that you pay (something around $5 or so dollars), but they allow you to add and remove various add-ons to your account for different amounts monthly, such as unlimited debit transactions, or unlimited e-transfer (so you don't pay the transfer fee).  
 
As far as ordering cheques go, they do charge based on how many you want. You will save money if you order more cheques.
