Has anyone recieved anything yet ?

What’s it for? Does everyone receive it? Do u need to apply?

You might want to be a little more specific. It looks like this is only for people or people with children with disabilities.

There was discussion on Ebrandon early this month about all the details I just can not find it .

The government website indicated the payments would be sent out starting October 30th. If they have your banking information then the payment will be made directly to your account. Otherwise a cheque will be sent out.  
If you have a Disability Tax certificate you’re do not need to apply, they will send it automatically..

Money was in my bank account this morning.. Rubyred I hope you received yours as well.

You have a registered disability account with the Federal Government.  
Not all will receive this.

I had no idea about this but after reading this thread I checked my account and yup, $600 was deposited today.

My husband received only 300.00 today I thought it was supposed to be 600.00 not sure why?

your husband must be a senior who received the earlier $300 seniors benefit? If so, he gets the extra $300 now. Seniors who previously received the $300 for seniors plus $200 for GIS recipients now received only $100. A senior who also has a disability certificate cats only $600 in total.

My daughter’s payment came in the mail yesterday.

A $600.00 one time payment for disabilities recipients. I got mine Oct 30th, directly deposited. I didn't have to apply due to the fact that I am already declared disabled on my income tax, so it is just deposited straight if you have direct deposit, otherwise I guess it will be mailed to you, but your income tax has to reflect you are disabled. I will try to find the link and send it.

This is what my tax guy sent me back in August 2020, hope it helps:  
"One-time payment support for Canadians living with disabilities:  
The Government of Canada has announced a one-time payment of $600 to help persons living with disabilities, in recognition of some of the extraordinary expenses they have encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic. Individuals who are determined to be eligible for the disability tax credit (DTC) or certain other disability-related benefit programs, may be entitled to receive the payment.  
 
Canadians living with disabilities who are eligible for the DTC but who have not yet applied, will have until September 25, 2020 to do so. For more information on how to apply for the DTC, please visit: http://www.canada.ca/disability-tax-credit."
