Looking to see if anyone has information on how to go about moving a mobile home? What’s required? Approximate cost - moving within 20 km? Is it a lengthy process?

There is a bit of prep work, like removing skirting, reattaching the hitch, disconnecting hydro, sewer pipes, water line etc. The mover will have a dolly that he rolls under the mobile if there are no wheels.  
As far as actual moving, call Scotty the Mover in Boissevain who will move it for around $2,500.  
There is another mobile mover around Brandon but he usually charges around $6000. which I think is extreme.  
You have to have a place to move it to, lots around Brandon are scarce...
