Online Chat Harrassment

We have all heard of school & job harrassment but how many of you have actually heard of or experienced first hand ONLINE CHAT HARRASSMENT?
A person attended a weekly chat (a regular chat for them. They've done this chat before).
This time the chat was different with unknown members to that person appearing.
No support was shown to the person and despite them initiating several private chats with known members, they were ignored.
This form of online harrassment is nothing short of abuse.It just hides under a different name.
Your opinions, please?
