So I recently found out that Vivid salon has closed their doors permanently. I’m wondering if anyone knows where Kristen, Katie or is Jocelyn (hairdressers) went to. I’d like to still support them if they’ve found a new home. Thanks in advance for any information.

How do you know they closed? Their Facebook page says 4 days ago they were reopening and 1 day ago says rebooking nail appts.

They have permanently closed. I don’t know where any of the girls you mentioned are now, but there is a post from Kendra on Facebook that she is going to Artistry salon

The Facebook page has changed to Dauphin (even though it has a Brandon #) the owner has moved, the address on the fb page is for 420 Main Street N Dauphin, and in the info says taking new clients in Dauphin. They just kept the same fb page. It is closed in Brandon permanently, the 3rd wave did them in here unfortunately, and have heard that directly from a staff member still looking for a new work place.  
If it’s the Kristen I’m thinking of, she stopped doing hair last year and has switched occupations. Unless another Kristen was there in the fall, then I’m not sure. As for the other ladies I’m not sure. But yes Kendra is at Artistry a few evenings a week. I hope they all find amazing places to work, as they were awesome.

What do you do with their gift certificates? A friend of mine have one

I was told hair dressers will be in touch with us to schedule our appointments, in the order they were previous scheduled, prior to closing. Hang tight...you should hear from them soon.

Do you mean booking you in at a different salon?? Maybe your hairdressers will contact you when they find a new salon to book? Is that what you meant?  
They made the tough decision mid June to close the doors permanently unfortunately. Maybe someone else will open one there or take it over. Even If you google Vivid it tells you it is permanently closed. And I’ve personally talked to staff that said it is closed permanently.

My mother has 2. I wonder what she is expected to do now?

I don’t think there is anything you can do, I have one too. I don’t think anyone was expecting how hard Covid would affect small businesses. Lots aren’t going to make it and haven’t made it. I’m throwing my gc out.
