Anyone know why I ca not spot the karat amount on wedding band set ? it's my mom"s

Possibly resized? I had my wedding band resized and they took out the gold where it had the stamp.
A jewelers could likely tell you the Karat of your ring

yes these rings had to be fused together because bands
wearing thin that probably changed the markings

Someone should be able to give you a rough estimate on size. If you want an appraisal, that will cost you $. I recently went to Reesors in the mall just to find out if the gems in my grandmother’s ring was real. ( she told me yes, and an aprox $ amount of its worth, for free ). Best of luck!
